Introduction

Music and file sharing seemed like things that would never coincide, until the World Wide Web was brought along. The advent of the World Wide Web, brought along by Tim Berners Lee in 1989 originally intended for data and information sharing between different organizations, allowed for users to interact with a multitude of things that were thought to be impossible. Similar to the web that we know and love today, 1990s music culture has influenced the way we see and learn about music to this day. Over time, we see that traditional forms of consuming media like music have been expiring, and returning to niche parts of the internet that embrace and reminisce about the old forms of media from long ago.
